macy lima celebrations + events

Originally born in Maracaibo Venezuela and moving to Toronto Canada at age 10, my mom loved getting creative with crafts with me and would always encourage my artistic side. During my teen years I began planning and designing events for family functions. After graduating with an International Business Degree from Seneca College, I never felt fulfilled by any of my jobs and always felt like something was missing. During all those 9-to5 jobs, my love for creativity remained as I began making birthday cards for friends, scrapbooking for family, and planning social events for close friends and family.

It was after getting married, moving to Texas and becoming pregnant with my first child, and planning my own baby shower that my creativity took a front seat. With the birth of my second child and planning his baptism, an event that would change everything, I was able to network with a lot of talented local vendors.  The event was a success and all my family and friends encouraged me to take a leap into the event planning business. That is when my passion was turned into a business and Macy Lima Celebrations & Events was created.

My biggest joy comes from creating memorable parties for my clients as I believe that every milestone should be celebrated no matter how big or small.  Together with an amazing team of vendors, I have the ability to transform clients’ visions into real-life, magical events.  My special touch…taking my clients ideas and adding unique details in the most unexpected places, wowing every guest who attends and leaving them talking about the event for years to come.
